The Do's & Don'ts of Garbage/Recycling

Updated: Oct 7, 2020

With new tenants moving in every month, we want to give a few friendly reminders when it comes to trash and recycling, as well as a guideline on what can and cannot be recycled. As always, if you have any questions, please call our office!

Do's and Don'ts:

-Don't throw large items in the trash (such as furniture and mattresses)

-Lids must be closed and not overflowing

-Don't set garbage or recycling next to the bin, it must be placed inside the bin

-If you are responsible for moving receptacles to the proper collection location, please remember to do so each week

-You are responsible for keeping trash off the property

Items you CAN recycle:

-Paper (mail, office paper, magazines, newspapers)

-Boxes (must be flattened)

-Plastics (bottles, jugs, cups, containers)

-Steel and aluminum cans/foil/trays

Items you CAN'T recycle:

-Plastic bags

-Cords, electronics, appliances

-Paper or foam cups

-Straws, napkins, paper towels

-Scrap metal

-Clothes hangers

-Paint, lightbulbs, containers with hazardous waste

-Black plastic

-Storage bins

-Shredded paper
