That's A Wrap! - The Supervisor

We are wrapping up the final installment of our series, "The Many Hats Of A Property Manager"!" This month, we dove into our role as The Supervisor. Take a look!

Managing Rental Units & Vacancies:

This is one of the most important responsibilities Housing Hub takes care of as a property management company. Doing so is truly a team effort.

Our leasing agents work around the clock showing prospective residents our available rental properties and filling vacancies as quickly as possible with quality tenants. Our maintenance technicians also work tirelessly to turn units, make repairs and upgrades, and conduct any needed inspections to make sure each unit is ready for move-in. All of this is also coordinated in conjunction with members of our office staff, who help schedule inspections, carpet cleaning, and move-ins for tenants.

Overseeing Each Property:

Property management is the core of what Housing Hub does, so taking care of each building we manage is of the utmost importance to us. Making sure each property is properly maintained when it comes to maintenance and landscaping is part of that role.

Housing Hub has its own team of maintenance technicians who are on-hand 24/7 to respond to maintenance emergencies, work orders, and are available to perform any property upgrades or renovations at the owner’s request. We also offer a wide variety of seasonal preventative maintenance services to our property owners, whether it’s leaf removal and gutter cleaning in the fall, or sprucing up landscaping and yard work in the spring. Regular snow removal and lawn mowing services are also offered to property owners.

Overseeing the property also includes managing requests from the city when it comes to inspections and abatements. Property and unit inspections are required from time to time, and are coordinated between our office, the property owner, and city inspectors. Abatements are issued to tenants for violating certain city policies, such as not shoveling your sidewalk, or not following the proper protocol when it comes to garbage and trash collection.

Manage Staff Members:

From our office staff, to our leasing agents out in the field, to our maintenance technicians tending to our properties on a regular basis, our team takes on a number of responsibilities to not only meet our property owners’ needs, but our tenants’ needs as well.

Each division of Housing Hub specializes in their own area of expertise, and within each division, each staff member has their own set of skills they bring to the table. Together, we work as a team to fulfill all the roles we embody as a property management company - the roles laid out in “The Many Hats Of A Property Manager” series.
