Housing Hub is following the latest developments surrounding COVID-19 very closely and all orders issued by Governor Walz's office. We are busy working hard for our tenants and are here to support you in any way we can.

COVID-19 Resources & FAQ's For Tenants

Do I still need to pay rent? Can I still submit maintenance requests? These are just some of the many questions we've been getting from tenants during the COVID-19 crisis.

But don't worry, we've got you covered! Visit the COVID-19 Resource Center on our website for everything you need to know. As always, never hesitate to call us!

Paying Rent & Late Fee Reminder

Just a friendly reminder that rent is due on the first of each month. Late fees can also go into effect at ANY TIME! Pay on time to avoid those fees!

Rent Help For St. Paul Families

Housing Hub is dedicated to educating residents about all of the financial resources and assistance programs available to them - which is why we are excited to announce that the City of St. Paul is launching a new rental assistance program.

The Families First Housing Pilot will provide a $300 monthly rent supplement and ongoing supportive services for three years, to families that qualify.

Housing Hub: A History

This month we will be diving into the history of Housing Hub and the story of how the company came to be and how it grew into the company it is today. We will also be getting to know Joe and Tom, the two owners behind Housing Hub, a bit better! Stay tuned to our blog and social media pages for more this month!

Trash and Recycling Reminders!

-Don't throw large items in the trash (such as furniture, mattresses)

-Lids must be closed and not overflowing

-Don't set garbage/recycling next to the bin, put it inside!

-If you are responsible for moving receptacles to the proper collection location, please remember to do so each week

-You are responsible for keeping trash off the property

Set Up Your Online Portal!

Setting up your online portal is a crucial step to complete when renting with Housing Hub. It not only allows you to pay rent, but it's also where you submit maintenance requests, and receive important announcements. Not sure how to navigate it? Click here for a step-by-step guide!

Maintenance Request Reminder

A friendly reminder that if you have more than one maintenance issue, please submit it under one request, not several separate ones! This makes it easier for our maintenance technicians to coordinate with you and schedule a time to come over and fix any problems.

Fall Lawn Care

Summer is nearly over, and the leaves will be falling before we know it! As fall approaches, we want to give some friendly reminders about lawn maintenance for tenants who are responsible for lawn care:

-Mow the lawn

-Rake and bag up leaves as they fall

-Pick up trash

-Keep your yard tidy, it is not to be used for storage!

-Shovel, salt, and sand driveways and sidewalks when it snows

*If you do not take care of these tasks, you could lose your rent credit.

Whether you pay rent on time or late, it has a huge impact on your credit score - whether you realize it or not! Paying rent on time builds your credit history and can help boost your credit score. Late rent payments or not paying it at all can tank your score, which can make it harder for you to buy a home, force you to pay higher interest rates, or even prevent you from qualifying for loans.
